Penthera Joins Blackberry Alliance Program

Pittsburgh, PA, October 16, 2008 – Penthera Partners, Inc, a provider of software, systems and services for delivering video to mobile devices, today announced that it has joined the BlackBerry® Independent Software Vendor (ISV) Alliance Program. Joining the alliance program will further enable Penthera™ to provide the highest quality of support for the BlackBerry® family of products, including integration with BlackBerry® Enterprise Server and BlackBerry® smartphones from Research In Motion (RIM) (Nasdaq: RIMM).

Penthera’s Virtuoso™ service, developed over the past three years, is designed to help organizations and individuals give DVR capabilities to a mobile phone. The patent‐pending service helps users push long‐form video and audio files to mobile devices for later playback. User‐driven and user‐obtained content flows automatically through the Penthera platform —hourly, daily, weekly—directly to the phone. All the user has to do is populate the platform with their content.
